Week 8: Wonder t-shirt

For week 8 we have to design a t-shirt about our theme for the year #choosekind. The winning design with be printed out on a t-shirts and given out at values assembly. On the front of my t-shirt I put a cross with love hears and wrote underneath it " Choose kind and be nice to others". On the back of my t-shirt I have one light pink love heart that says choose kind inside and then I have big and little hearts red hearts around it.

Peer mediation

Peer mediation is when you have bright yellow vests on and you have to help year 1's to 4's solve there fights or bad behaviour. You can either be on area 1 2 or 3. Area 1 is the back paddock area 2 is the court and playground and area 3 is the front court. So If you ever have any problems with your friends or anyone please go and look for us in the neon yellow or orange vests. Thank you so much for coming by and reading my week 7 blog BYE!!!

Art!!!!!

In the Kaupeka hub we have been doing art. For art we had to take a photo of yourself thinking and then draw four lines and in the four lines you had to write 4 meaning full words that you can work on at school. My four words I chose were: Caring, Honest, Integrity and Faith. When you have picked your 4 words, you had to draw and colour things that relate to the words and how you can show them during the day.
For example if I wrote Caring I would draw things that I can be Caring for. Here is a photo of my art.

Swimming lessons

Hola and welcome back to my week 5 blog post.

Every day for the past two weeks we have been doing swimming lessons at QEII. It is fun doing laps up and down the pools and learning new things that we didn't know how to do. My favourite type of swimming is breast stroke. What type of swimming is your favourite? And I can't wait for water safety. See you in my next blog post BYE

Technology!!

Hola everyone!

 Welcome back to my blog. In this blog today I will be talking about... Technology!
Let's get to it!

Every Monday the Kaupeka hub goes on a bus to Technology. Technology is where we learn how to do stuff that we have never learnt before and focus on either a project for the term or one each week. The year 7's do: Food, Fabrics\Sewing, Plastics and Wood works. The year 8's do: Food, Fabrics\Sewing and Metal Work. This term I am doing food with my teacher for the term called Mrs Hubbard. We get to make lots of different types of food such as pasta, omelettes, Pizza, pancakes etc... So fun it's been really really fun and I can't wait to go again next Monday.

Swimming sports

Welcome back to my week 4 blog post.

In week 4 we had swimming sports. The races you could compete in were 50 or 25m freestyle, 25m or 50m Breaststroke and 25m or 50m backstroke.
I competed in 25m Freestyle, Breaststroke and Backstroke. I came 1st in all of my races and I was really proud of myself at the end.
