Term 2 PBL Question.

Hello, and welcome back to my week 1 Term 2 blog post.

This week I will be talking about our Term 2 PBL question which " How do we speak out ". Discrimination is were you are racist, sexist, Ageism and Ableism against people.   
Discrimination makes me feel sad because it means that we need to have a voice and speak up about discrimination. I think that we can't actually stop discrimination but we can change how we feel about it. I learnt that its important to know what discrimination is so then if I hear it I can help and say something to make them stop.

Management levels

Hi and welcome back to my week 11 blog post.

This week I will be talking to you about the management levels in the Kaupeka hub. So first we took a photo of our face and then we coloured in our body for the face.We made these characters so that these can be our people that we move up the levels. So how the management levels work is, there is Goomba Town, Cookie Canyon, Fuzzy Tree Tops and Bowsers Ultimate lair. So Goomba town is were everyone first starts off and you have to make your way up the levels. If you are in Goomba Town you don't really get to choose where you sit but you do get to choose who you sit with. In Cookie Canyon you are allowed in the quiet spaces and the canyon. In Fuzzy Tree Tops you can basically control your learning and where you sit and who you sit with. In Bowsers Ultimate Layer you can control where you sit without asking the teachers and you are trusted to listen to whatever music you want.

Digi awards invitation ( Sneak peak )

Hi and welcome back to my week 10 blog post,
Today I will be giving you a little sneak peak on the digi awards. The digi awards is when you show a digital project to judges and family and friends. The categories are storytelling, commercial , coding, website and open. I am in a group with my friends Felicity and Maia. We are doing a commercial. And the theme for the digi awards in " How can we show Greatness?". So for the digi awards we had to make an invitation to invite our parents or other family members to come along and watch. We made our invitations on Canva. Here is my invitation

Summary about SFOA values.

Hi and welcome back to my week 9 blog post,

This week I will be talking about the St Francis of Assisi school values. The values are Respect, Integrity, Compassion and Service. I can show service at school by helping people if the don't get the work and try to explain it to them so they are no longer confused. I can show service at home by helping around the house without being told. I can show Integrity at school by seeing someone who's lonely and asking them to play with me and my friends. I can show Integrity at home by cleaning my room and walking the dog. I can show respect at school by picking up rubbish. I can show respect at home by doing what my parents say and showing respect for the things I have and being respectful with them. I can show Compassion at school by staying on task and being organised. I can show Compassion at home by valuing my family and my pets.
