Reflection on sports rotation

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my week 6 blog post about my reflection on sports rotation.
This week I am going to be reflecting on my sports rotations that we do in our timetable.
So in our school timetable we have to put fitness rotations and in our rotations we go outside and we do fitness. For fitness I like to do push ups, sit ups, planks, running, obstacle and much more stuff.
We have to get changed at morning tea break, lunch or whenever we have fitness we get changed before hand. Then if we forget to bring our sports gear we have a google sheet and when we forget it our name gets put on the sheet and if we get lots of tiks beside our name we have to miss out on stuff like fun activity's and fun days out sometimes. I think that the sports rotations are really good for us and are really fun and good for us.
Thanks for reading my blog post about my reflection on our timetable sports rotation and I hope to see you guys in my next blog post. Bye!
Do you guys do sport rotation?

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my week 7 blog post about tough kids.
So this week we went to New Brighton and we competed in the tough kids race. We left school at 9;00 and went on the buses to new Brighton and then we got ready for the race. Then we lined up for the race and waited for the hooter then we started the first obstacle was tires were we had to climb of a big mountain of tires and we had to climb over them then the second obstacle was a big bouncy castle and we had to climb our way through the bouncy castle. Then the third obstacle was a maze and we had to put our hands on our head and we couldn't touch the sides of the maze. Then the next one was a rope maze and it was a bunch of ropes that were tied to trees and we had to try and climb over and under  the ropes then there were a bunch more obstacles such as tires, water slides, bouncy castles, a river, a big puddle of mud, nets and a big long 2.5k run between races. It was super fun and I hope that we get to do it again next year.

Japan Report

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my week 4 blog post and this week I will be talking to you about my Japan Report.
This week we had to pick a country and write a report on it. I chose Japan because I know a lot of facts about Japan and its a very interesting country. So I wrote a report about Japan and put facts like the population, flag, food, Languages, Native Animals and many more.
Down below is some facts that I wrote in my report.

" Japan 2019 population is 126,729,703 and in 2014 the population dropped very low but since then the population has grown wider and wider and is still growing. We all the Japan flag the one that is white and has a red circle inside it, but have you ever wondered why its shaped like that, well the red disc in the middle represents a rising sun, it's a rising sun because Japan has a lot of pretty sunsets and they like to watch them. "
Thanks for reading my week 4 blog post about my Japan report and I hope to see you next time. Bye!
Did you learn something new about Japan in the facts I wrote?

Recipe

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my week 2 blog post.
So for this week we had to make a for our country that we pulled out of a box. I got Germany so I made an apple crumble here are my instructions down below...

Ingredients
½ cup plain flour
¼ of rolled oats
¼ cup desiccated coconut
¼ cup of soft brown sugar
½ tsp mixed spice or cinnamon
75g of butter
5-6 granny smith apples
2 Tbsp of golden syrup
2 Tbsp of raw sugar or demerara sugar
Bowl
Cutlery
Step 1: Wash your hands
Washing your hands is important before and after you cook or bake anything so then germs don't get into the food.
Step 2: Preheat your oven to 190° C conventional or 170°C fan forced.
Step 3 : Get a bowl and put in oats, coconut, soft brown sugar and cinnamon and mix it together.
Step 4: Then rub in the butter into the mixture until the mixture becomes combined and crumbly.
Step 5: Then peel and cut apples into wedges and place in an oven- proof bowl. Then drizzle with golden syrup if you would like. ( it makes it sweeter so if you like sweet stuff then I would recommend putting it on )
Step 6: Then spread the crumble over top of the apples. Then put a couple pinches of raw sugar or Demerara sugar over the top of the crumble and apples for a topping.
Step 7: Put it in the oven and bake for 40-45 mins until apples underneath are cooked and the crumble is looking golden and crunchy.
Step 8: Then enjoy your nice warm apple crumble and you can also put some toppings on like ice-cream, cream or custard or any topping that is your favorite.
I hope you enjoyed reading my recipe for my apple crumble and I hope to see you next time. Bye!
Have you ever made apple crumble?

Create task

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my week 2 blog post abut my create task for this week.

So for this weeks blog we i'm going to share with you my reading create task for this week.
Our reading task for this week was to chose a book out of four options and I chose " My name is Rez " and its a new kid at school and he speaks a different language and he gets picked on cause he doesn't speak the same language as the other kids.
Then we had to write how this relates to me and how it doesn't relate to me.
I wrote " I think its relates to me of when I might feel left out of someone and everyone can do something and I can't ". Then I wrote for the next question " I think this doesn't relate to me in everyday life because I speak the same language as my country ".
Thanks for reading my week 2 blog post about my reading create task and I hope to see you next time. Bye!
Have you ever related do what Rez was feeling?

Camp Reflection

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my week 4 blog post about my camp reflection.

So last week we went to YMCA Wainui school camp. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Everyday we did three different activity's. So first we got on the bus and had an hour and a half drive. Then when we got there we had to do a 3k walk up a hill to get up the the camp site. Then once we had done that we got all our stuff into our cabins and got our stuff unpacked and got our beds made. Then we went and had lunch and had out first activity. My first activity was coastering this one was my favorite one out of all the activity's because we got to jump of cliffs into the ocean and it was super fun. Then we had dinner and then we went to bed. Then the next day we did three activity's, the activity's I did were outdoor living which was super interesting and we got to make a shelter and get supplies to start a fire. Then I did high ropes, high ropes is like clip and climb were you had to climb obstacles high up while you buddies held you up with the rope. Then we did kayaking and it was super fun but it was quite cold and windy but it was still super fun, we got to play lots of games in the water and the water was really cold. Then we had dinner and went to bed and then the next day we did archery, school led and search and rescue. Those were super fun and archery was super funny and cool, for school led we played a game of cricket and we did breakout edu. Then search and rescue we learnt how to make a raft and we had to go and find the missing people. Then the last day we did orienteering and that was super cool and we found all of the numbers. Then we packed up all our stuff and got on the bus and went home. It was a super fun camp and I am very grateful I got to go.

Learnt: I learnt about lots of different trees in outdoor living
I enjoyed: Coastering because we got to jump of lots of cliffs into the water.
I'm grateful for: I'm grateful for the food that got cooked for us and the opportunity to go to camp.
What I found challenging: I found high ropes challenging because it was really high and it was really hard.
Thanks for reading my camp blog post and I hope to see you in my next blog post.
Have you been to school camp before?
